Welcome to my home page …

Hello I’m @manx … 

I am one of the founding members of  Tech-Sat  Satellite, Computer,  General Tech Support Forum.

Tech is run by a small group of friends who share a common interest in linux based satellite receivers and the free sharing of knowledge  on just about everything.  We are a great community who will soon be a year old. 

This blog was really set up just to do a run through for a member who wanted to get up and running with WordPress, and always up for a challenge i thought i would give a whirl. I am always open to suggestions and always willing to get involved in a bit of light hearted banter … should you decide to call across to Tech … look me up … i currently go under the user name ‘@-tech’.  

Hopefully you will find this blog of some interest … as i am new to the world of bloging i may keep changing things around a bit as i go.
